Our aspirations
The Google User Experience team aims to create designs that are useful, fast, simple, engaging, innovative, universal, profitable, beautiful, trustworthy, and personable. Achieving a harmonious balance of these ten principles is a constant challenge. A product that gets the balance right is “Googley” – and will satisfy and delight people all over the world.

近日Google发布了十周年庆页面，并推出了创想 10100活动。创想 10100 是一项想法征集活动，旨在号召人们提交各种奇思妙想，以帮助尽可能多的人，从而使我们的世界更美好。活动的初衷是”希望那些能给最多数人带来帮助的想法将胜出”。你只需将自己的好点子提交给google就可以参加了，具体参与方式及活动规则如下：
参与方式
1. 在 10 月 20 日之前，将您的想法发送给我们。
只需填写提交表格，将您的想法的要点告诉我们即可。您可以提交一段 30 秒的视频，对自己的想法进行补充说明。2. 自 1 月 27 日起开始对想法投票。
我们将公布选出的一百个想法，由公众从中选出二十个进入半决赛。然后，由顾问委员会选出五个获奖想法。 提醒我投票3. 我们将协助实现这些奇思妙想。
我们将投入 1,000 万美元来协助实现这些奇思妙想，让尽可能多的人从中受益。但是请记住，资金只能起到推动作用，好的想法才是关键。祝您好运，希望那些最能体现”我为人人”思想的想法能够胜出。

Blogoscoped 论坛上有人发现, Google 推出了一项新的服务 – Google Moderator.
Matt Cutts 在博客上表示,这其实是 Google App Engine 的一部分,在 Google 内部被广泛使用.在 Google 公司里,人们把这个叫做 Dory (以”海底总动员”中一条经常会提问的鱼的名字命名).

The Shenzhou-7 spaceship lift off just now on the nation’s third manned space mission. More attractive is that the mission will include China’s first space walk if all goes according to plan.
China became the third country to send people into space in 2003, when military pilot Yan Liwei circled the earth for 21hours. It’s second mission-in 2005-had two crew members and lasted five days.

Now that Taro Aso is Prime Minister, it seems appropriate to post this fan video that mixes a speech he gave in English with scenes of him jogging and firing a shotgun. The guy’s a bad ass. And, as evidenced by this photo taken when he was on the Japanese shooting team in the 1976 Olympics, he would have been a more handsome action hero than Chuck Norris, too.
