孢子在美国PC市场独占鳌头

根据NPD的数据，在刚过去的一周（至9月13日）《孢子》和《孢子银河版本》占据了美国软件销售排行榜的TOP 1, 2.

EA Maxis的《模拟人生2：公寓生活》下降第三位，随后是孢子生物编辑器。《魔兽世界：典藏版》占第五，紧跟着的是《模拟人生2：豪华版》，《魔兽世界：燃烧的远征》，和《魔兽世界：典藏版》。

排行并没有充满产品的多样性，其中孢子三个，魔兽世界三个，算上魔兽争霸就是4个魔兽游戏，两个模拟人生2。
《孢子》的DRM引发了大量争议, 关于孢子使用SecuRom, EA可能面临法律问题。针对用户帐号的苛刻限制的负面消息不断升温。但丝毫没有影响的销售，我们可以看到《孢子》和《孢子银河版本》占了九月第二周的销售榜首。
《孢子》在某种程度上已经不算是游戏，属于interactive toys。对于基于进化论Evolution的游戏，为什么在基督教国家还如此热卖？
